Description:

Parks all metal 'vintage' mount. This design goes back decades, but Parks was selling these until a few years ago.
A 6" f/6 Newtonian was matched with this mount, and works real nice with it. You could probably go up to an 8" f/5 or 6 with a minor increase in vibration.
The counterweight shaft measures about 22mm, or 7/8" The cast shaftings on the two axis are bit smaller than 1.5", about 1 3/8".
Condition: Pictures are little washed out and the black paint looks blacker in real life.
Both axis move easily and smoothly. The clutches work fine.
From a few feet away this looks to be in great condition. Up close, there is some rust on the bolts at the top of the pier that hold the mount on, and some minor rust on the inside of the tube, and some wear on the counterweight shaft. The mount itself looks a little used, but no issues.
I'm asking $175 obo. I can't find another one to base a price on; feel free to make an offer. Shipping will probably be $30 or more; Please send me you zip code with any inquiry and I can figure out shipping from Southern California. Shipping weight is around 40lb.
I take Paypal and MO.
