Doug L sage Registered: 8/17/2008 Posts: 223 About half (180 degrees) of the outside of the eyepiece barrel is filed down thinner. Note: This modification will work best for binoviewers that have a single thumbscrew holding the eyepieces and which does NOT continually centre the eyepiece as the screw is tightened. The idea of this mod is to have the eyepiece slightly offset from centre. The eyepiece is put in the focuser with the filed side opposite the thumbscrew. Sat Sep 13, 2008 11:54am
