Lunar Occultation of Aldebaran, 1999/1/27

Poster: Dave Mitsky (see all of this user's photos)
Description: This shot was taken on January 27, 1999 at 07:47 UT, about five minutes before the occultation of Aldebaran, which appears to the lower left of the moon. I employed a 5" f/5 achromatic refractor, a Pentax K1000 SLR camera, and eyepiece projection. The original film print was processed to monochrome using Photoshop.
