'Under the stars Sunday night, the lines were short. I tried the Springfield telescope and found sitting as I studied Jupiter's belts most pleasant; then I walked up to Norm Butler's twin 6" Cassegrain binoculars to try them on the same object. The effect is amazing: the moons seem to float three-dimensionally in space around the planet.'
