M31, the Andromeda galaxy.

Description: This is a picture of M31, shot with a WO Megrez 72 on Vixen GP2, Olympus E-420.


Unguided, 2 x 60 sec. before the focuser began sliding.... ISO 800.

Thanks, John!


This, and the picture of M45 are my first attempt on DSLR/DS imaging.
Next time around, I will stretch the exposure time to its maximum, for unguided tracking and lower the ISO to 400. I have also adjusted the tension of the focuser, now it keeps in place.
