A heavy Meade N6 with Crayford focuser, 6x30 finder on Vixen stalk and heavy rings are a bit too much for the Starblast 6 alt-az mount. Vibrations take 2-3 seconds to damp.
The 'Dobstand' legs are extremely effective at raising the rig to a comfortable viewing level, without adding too much weight to this grab-and-go 'scope. |
