The Compleat Observer, circa 1982

Poster: amicus sidera (see all of this user's photos)
Description: An Edmund Scientific Astroscan, a pair of Bushnell extra-wide-angle 7x35 binoculars, an Edmund Mag 6 Atlas and Burnham's Celestial Handbook; all relatively inexpensive yet highly effective. Add the Edmund 6" f/6 located elsewhere in my gallery, and what more could an early 1980's observer long for, save clear skies?

Ah, youth, and its simpler (and happier) times...
