| Great job keep it up..I find that a Pilot chisel point red pen is the BEST for promenences I have tried over 2 dozen different red drawing pens in the last 12 years of Solar drawing and find that so far this is the best for me ,Sunspots are drawn with a black chisel point Pilot pen and the Umbrae and Penumbrae are drawn in with artist pencils from #2 to #7.A large orange "high-liter" can be used to fill in the Solar disk and flares are drawn in with a yellow hi-liter...in about 2,000 hours of solar viewing I have seen only 1 solar flare develop in white light..now that I am retired I plan to get in a lot more observation especially when I finally take delivery of my double stacked PST. |
