Aristarchus and Prinz unfinished

Poster: kraterkid (see all of this user's photos)
Description: Aristarchus hugging the terminator with the partial crater rim of Prinz (below and to the right in this sketch) as well as Montes Harbinger. These are found on Rukl 18 and 19.

The drawing was done on August 15, 2005 between 9:54 PDT and 10:20 PDT. The seeing was poor 3-4 of 10 and the transparency went from 6 (good) to 0 (fogged out). I would have wanted to spend a little more time on the surounding mare and fine shadow details, but the Southern California marine layer came in thick and heavy, completely obscuring La Luna for the balance of the night. As a result this is an unfinished sketch.

Scope: 12" Meade SCT
Eyepiece: 32 mm Plossl
Barlow: 2X Powermate

Thanks for looking,
