This might be a minor quibble, but "Caldewll 16", is not really a good way of identifying an object to others. The Caldwell "list" is something Patrick "Caldwell" Moore cooked up and is not really an established scientific catalog of objects which is commonly referred to. This object appears to be NGC 7243 (also known as Collinder 448 or Mellotte 240), an open star cluster in Lacerta. Clear skies to you.
