| Description: |
This was a single 25 minute exposure on Kodak Elite Chrome 200 slide film at prime focus with a Meade LXD75 8" f/4 Schmidt Newtonian and hand guided with an Orion 910mm guidescope. I used a 25 year old Olympus OM-1 35mm camera. Total investment of this setup was less than $1500, which demonstrates that you can achieve fantastic deep sky photos for a small investment! |
