Greetings fellow sky-gazers:
I'm not sure this post fits with this new forum, but I had to dive in somewhere! I have logged into Cloudy Nights before, but I thought I would say hello under my new position as Equipment Editor at Sky and Telescope. I'll be checking in to see what's up (literally) and to get more involved in some discussions as my time allows.

I don't think this fits ANYWHERE, so hopefully here? I am a member of Planethunters. (www.planethunters.org), where we use data from the Kepler Telescope to help the "pros" find extra solar planets. is there a place for people interested in discussing that here?
