The picture of Earth showing the night and day has been a "game" in several of the Linux distro's I've had. Always loaded it - too cool not to.

Just had a thought; how hard would it be to have a link back to the article from, say this thread. I saw the new link, but oddly enough I don't have a short cut to that area of cloudynights on this browser. New folks (or ones as lazy as me) or somebody that would like to check a fact in the article real quick before posting could use it bounce back to the article for a review.

Wish the whole program was available in other platforms!

I also started out with this a very long time ago, I like it. But I have found another new freeware that seems far superior; Cartes du Ciel at http://astrosurf.com/astropc/cartes/
What I like about this software is the link to online star catalogs and photos from USNO, GSC databases and HEASARC that can be paste in the sky for more details.
