This one sounds like a winner. And about time, too. :waytogo:

Some more photos of pages from the book on Steve Quirk's web site at http://my.hwy.com.au...tlas/index.html

Well done to both the authors for a timely and very useful book. Many thanks asaint for drawing our attention to it and doing the review.

atb,

John

I came south to New Zealand in 2003 with the 2nd edition of Hartung's book. It was good, but a bit outdated. Hopefully I will return with this book.

Thanks Vince,

I visited Queensland for 6 weeks back in 1983 (there were floods) staying in Bargarra (?) and working in Bundaberg - loved it - great sights, great people, great skies.

Hopefully this book will become available here in SA.

Hi Duncan,

You'll find stockists in Aus (you could certainly mail order) on the link already quoted above by John Flannery which is

http://my.hwy.com.au...tlas/index.html

I love the contests between Aus and RSA in Cricket and Rugby

Yeah, over here we support anyone playing against Australia, but it's the same for England and NZ as well, we also love to hate them in sporting competitions!
I have to be careful with soccer though, Harry Kewell (Liverpool and Australia) is one of my son's favourites!
