This is a nice grouping of stars around Mirfak in Perseus. Looks really nice in my 9X63 Binocs. :jump:

Yes it is! it's one of those objects/areas that cannot be viewed in a scope. Don't remember exactly, but I'd guess it's about 3-4° across.

Yeah it fits pretty snugly in my 4.5 FOV. :bigshock: ...that's supposed to represent me looking:)

I've never figured out what that icon is supposed to be saying! I like the binoc description.

SEDS lists Melotte 20 as being 185' - http://www.seds.org/...c/alphaper.html

At any rate it fits into the FOV of my 101mm Tele Vue refractor and 35mm Panoptic.
