What is the cw-shaft diameter of the cgem? Is it larger or smaller than the cg-5 shaft and will its cw's work on the cgem without coring them? Thanks...

It is 3/4" diameter. In addition to the 17 pound CW that came with the mount, I have also used a counter weight from my old Atlas with no problem. I would think CG5 CWs should also work fine.

Thanks Dave. Any issues with the mount? Just ordered one...

I'm using CG5 11-pounders on my CGEM with no problem.

20mm - Orion C/W's for Atlas and Sirius mounts work just fine.
