Yesterday the weather allowed me to observe and to sket the comet. The moon was slightly disturbing.

I used my 32-cm Dob at 58x for this sketch. I saw a lot of detail:
- assymetric central condensation
- two part tail
- antitail
- dark area near the northern connection between coma and tail.

Uwe,

An excellent observation of Comet Lulin showing much detail. You have recorded the coma and tails very nicely. Thank you for sharing them with us all.

Wow, cool! I should have turned the telescope on it when I had clear skies last night, but I've gotten so used to using the 18x70's that I didn't think of it.

Cheers,
-- Jeff.

Great impressionistic sketch with detail!
Another of your unique artworks!

This is what I hoped to see if I get to darker skies.

Thanks for posting,

Mark
