Can the Ioptron MiniTower handle a 1800mm (7 inch) Orion Mak Telescope at 22inches long and 16 lbs? Additional weight to add would include the diagonal, EP and finder. Visual only. Thank you. Regards, Jim

It will handle it nicely. The MT is rated at 25 lbs. I have a C8, Hyperstar3, QHY8 camera, ST80 with diagonal and eyepiece mounted on mine with no problems.

Jim:

It should do well. I have used it with an OLD C8 that has a Moonlight two speed focuser, a sliding CW and an 8 x 50 finder. I have also had a number of clients that use it with C9.25 OTAs and not one has said it wasn't up to the task.
