As the title suggests, has anyone with a CGE updated the firmware to 4.16 which Celestron released this week?
It was supposed to have fixed, and I quote from the 4.16 text file:

- southern hemisphere fixes
- SAO align star fixes
- Improved GOTO approaches on extended meridian

I usually am an "early adopter" and go ahead and update, but this time I thought I'd ask first.

Dave,

A few comments on the changes ...

- southern hemisphere fixes - not applicable here
- SAO align star fixes - I don't use SAO designations for my alignment stars
- Improved GOTO approaches on extended meridian - I don't believe this is applicable for the CGE since it has position switches and doesn't track across the meridian like the CGEM/CGEPro do.

IMHO not much reason for us CGE owners to consider this release.
