I see pictures of this mount on the Astronomics website and the arm that holds the scope is always angled back, which I assume lets the scope point up to zenith. But I saw a picture of it on CN a few minutes ago with the new TMB92L mounted on it and it looks like the arm is not angled back, it appears to be positioned directly over the center of the mount. Am I just seeing the result of a camera angle or can the arm really be repositioned? I want to use the mount for terrestrial viewing so the upright position is what I am looking for.

Yes, it can be angled 45 degrees back or straight up depending on your needs.

Or flipped forward so that it's 45° with the saddle on the other side when rotated 180°... as I forgot about in an earlier post. It's two allen head bolts that hold the arm to the base that get removed and repositioned to achieve the various orientations.

Greg ... nice camera work on Sunday ... thanks.

I hope it is a good mount because I just ordered if from Astronomics about 20 minutes ago. The ability to move the arm up so the scope can aim down as well as up is great for terrestrial use, I wonder why the mounts from orion and vixen don't have this feature.

The Vixen does one thing the Voyager does not do and that is angle the az slo mo control at approx 45* angle to the mount which is very handy and having figured out the problem I made a mod for it.
With the Voyager when viewing at higher alts the equipment on the mount seems to get in the way of the slo mo control so by moving it, it mimics the Porta quite nicely.

Thanks, I make 'em.
The tray design is borrowed from another CN'r by the name of jayscheuerle.
