Four months ago, a group of three Spanish amateur and dedicated double stars observers created a magazine related to this subject.

Today, May 1st, we’re pleased to announce that the 2nd issue of the magazine “El Observador de Estrellas Dobles” (OED) has been launched.

We hope that this magazine has the same success as the previous issue.

Although it’s a magazine in Spanish language, all the articles have an abstract in English.

This issue, even more international than the first, includes articles by great amateur observers as Martine Castets, Bernard Tregon and Florent Losse (France), Francisco Rica, Jose Luis Comellas, Rafael Benavides, Paco Bellido and others from Spain and Carlos Krawczenko from Argentina.

Our magazine accepts studies and observations from amateur observers all around the world. We translate articles from any language into Spanish.

I remind you than the measures published in OED will be accepted by WDS.

You can find more information at my blog: http://ladecimaesfera.blogspot.com

And also at the magazine’s blog: http://elobservadord...s.wordpress.com

Best regards,

Juan-Luis G. Carballo
Co-editor of OED
