After observing Sinus Iridum (The Bay of Rainbows) at the lunar waxing terminator late last month in April, I was inspired to do something I have never done before. Cosmic Comedy / Satire ? ? Comic Strip Humor. An artists manifesto statement for the cosmos.

A 19 X 25 " pastel sketch on Strathmore Artagain with varous pastel chalks.

Thanks Jeremy

I really went out on a limb to do this one. I even imply in the title that I am treading on a dangerous area of artistic statement (by way of artistic license?) It did not really turn out as the original idea but possibly a pilot for a future venture in cosmic humor vs the artistic process vs scientific methods of observation.

James and Steve

Thanks for the kind words. Any advice for moving ahead with a cosmic comic strip?

Mark
