Does anyone have information about this mount?

JE180 German Equatorial Mount

It looks interesting with 15kg load capacity.

Looks like an LXD-75.

They guys at Explore Scientific are sure to have seen this since Explore is owned by GJ. Give them a buzz and see what they say.

The LXD-75 isn't rated for 15kg but that doesn't the JE180 isn't being over stated.

The LXD-75 isn't rated for 15kg but that doesn't the JE180 isn't being over stated.


Yup. Jinghua was the source of the LXD55/75 mounts. They also sourced the Apogee HD GEM and surely others (Konus?). They were one of the two primary sources of Vixen clone mounts for many years (Synta was the other).
