I've got a CPC-11 on it's original fork. It's worked pretty good with the Hyperstar, however there is still rotation on some longer exposures. The scope doesn't have any rails/mounts to be used with a GEM, obviously. I'm not sure if this conversion is possible or worth the $$. Is there a procedure I can follow to convert this scope to a GEM mounted one and can anyone recommend a a particular GEM that would take this scope? Celestron says the scope weighs 65 pounds, but that is probably with the fork, I would assume.
CPC-11 on a GEM?

After weighing all your options you'll probably find out it's easier to sell the CPC11 and buy a C11 on a GEM. The other option would to be buy a decent wedge and mount it on that. I believe Mitty Wedges are now in stock at OPT for the CPC series and first impressions seem to be good.
