Sometimes it is the contrast of a natural sky event that puts unnatural surroundings in better perspective.

Very evocative and beautiful Roland! Wonderful Moon and surrounding scene. You found something so serene in the "concrete jungle".

Roland,

A beautiful observation and prose of a fleeting look at a golden Moon. Thank you for sharing it with us all.

Thanks Rich and Carlos.

Rich...you mentioned once before (I thought) a tutorial or something similar where you talk about how to do "mounds" or higher areas on the moon. If I am not mistaken, do you have a link to that material? I referenced it to Michael, also, so may be others would like to see it too.

Roland,

Beautiful sketch. You and Carlos got the great yellow moon sketches this week. This one is a beauty.:waytogo:   :rainbow:

Hi Roland,

I started a brief introduction to sketching domes but I haven't finished it yet. I know I promised it some time back. I'll see about finishing it this weekend and posting it in the Sketching Forum.

No complaint here...don't rush. I just did not want to miss it if it went by me during travels. Roland
