Someone mentioned to me a vendor who computerizes mounts. He primarily sells kits that let you rig encoders on your mount that communicate with your laptop. But he also does a similar thing, in his shop, for DS-16 EQ mounts. I understand he occasionally advertises his services on astromart.

Does anyone have any idea who this is? I would so love to set up my DS-16 with DSCs, or better yet true goto (although this would require a Dec motor that does not seem to exist, as the dec adjustment on the DS-16 is limite to about 15 degreees).

Here are some encoder options for that mount that won't even require a laptop.
