Hello Tom,

Here is a sketch of NGC 6210 in Hercules that you have requested and are welcome to use. I think this one is also in my gallery.

NGC 6210 Planetary Nebula in Hercules

Sketching:

Date and Time: 9-12-2007, 2:10-2:40 UT
Scope: 10” f/5.7 Dobsonian. 21mm and 12mm eyepieces 70x and 121x
8”x12” white sketching paper, B, 2B graphite pencils, scanned and inverted, star magnitude adjustments using Paint
Averted vision was a very useful aid in this sketch.
Seeing: Pickering 8/10
Transparency: above average 4/5
Nelm: 4.9

He he... I see the Turtle Nebula is getting some nice exposure.

I already sent this to Tom, but it'll make a nice companion to Frank & Jim's excellent sketches, so I'll post it here too.

Tom,

You are probably looking for globular cluster NGC 6229.
Here is mine.
Sketching Date and Time: 8-12-2007, 2:30-2:50 UT
Telescope 10” f / 5.7 Dobsonian 21mm eyepiece 69x
8”x12” white sketching paper, B and 4B graphite pencils, a blending stump, scanned and inverted
Seeing: Pickering 7/10
Transparency: average 2.5/5
NELM 4.1
