I'm really torn on what to do...
I have an EzTouch and a Nexstar 6/8se mount. If I sold ~one~ of them, I would have enough $$ to buy a CGEM. Otherwise, I will have to wait another couple of months before the "scope fund" has enough in it for the CGEM.

Nexstar Pros: Go-to, tracking, runs on batteries.
Cons: Only holds one scope, need to buy a wedge to be able to point towards the zenith

EzTouch: Pros: Can hold two scopes, cooler
Cons: No go-to, no tracking

What would you do? I want to get back on the AP wagon, so I sold my CG5 (prematurely) to help fund the CGEM, but I'm still a little short...and I really don't want to wait two months to get the CGEM.

i also belivie the EZ touch does not even have slow motion controls, i like an AZ mount to have that as a min.

I added encoders and an Argo to my EZ Touch. Rather have push to than slow motion. That's my minimum.

true. But it's smooth enough that I don't miss slow motion controls...

Sounds like you've answered your own question. Keep the EZ Touch and sell the Nexstar. If you're selling to fund a CGEM (with goto), then the Nexstar becomes kind of redundant. The EZ Touch would make a great grab & go complement to the CGEM.

If your EzTouch & scope doesn't have much iron in it (stainless steel is ok)... For my Voyager I just made a little wood piece to piggy back my Skyscout on the scope. Now I have a $180 non-goto computer with GPS, and it talks to me, too. It's lots cheaper than JMI, and no need to level the tripod or star align! Can't wait till I have a chance to test it out :jump:
