A terrific placement of your stars easily recognizes this open cluster. Your stars and their variances in magnitude I really enjoy also. I compared it to the STScI Digitized Sky Survey and could easily see the cluster in your sketch here. Well done and thanks so much for all you contribute!

Demelza,

Beautiful work with that sketch.

How was Sourbroth? I've been there last year several times.
Did you like the sky over there?

Thank you, Ray and Rony! :) It is a nice open cluster which I've stumble upon by coincidence. It was a nice surprise!

@Rony: It was the first time I've been to Sourbroth. The sky is a lot more dark there than here in the Netherlands. Fortunately, Sourbroth is only an hour from home.

Demelza,

Wonder capture of this open cluster.  :rainbow:  Isn't it great fun just hunting around and through this part of the sky on a summer night?

Frank :)

Thanx guys!

Isn't it great fun just hunting around and through this part of the sky on a summer night?

It sure is! Especially during the warm summer nights, lying on the grass with just a binocular. :smirk:
