I called Meade and they do not have this part any more. This is my first telescope and I am 50 years old. I got it from an old friend who broke the plastic threaded fastener that holds the ra/az axis together also the numbers plate on the side is gone. I can't find these parts anywhere and was hoping that someone knew where i could get them.
Thank you mark :help:

There is a good guy on eBay that has a number of Meade scopes that he sells parts from. His name is William Vorce. His ebay store is Scopehed1. You can send a message telling him what you need to Scopehed@frontiernet.net. He is honest and the price is very good. He is also a CN member.

Luck, Bill
