Where can I get CG5 Tripod leg?
I have bent inner tube that it does not extend.
How do you lock not too much when setting up heavy telescope?
Is there any compatible ones?
Is there any better upgrade for a tripod for CG5?

Tele vue Gibralter Wooden "Ash" tripod will turn your CG5 into a much better platform.

CG5's original Synta-made 2" steel tripod now looks like can only be acquired used.

There's an alternative - 2" steel made by Jinghua. Antares imports this set of leg. Works totally fine with all the ex-CG5/EQ5 mounts I had

I searched for Tele vue Gibralter Wooden "Ash" tripod.
How do I mount CG5 on this tripod? Is there adapter plate available from somewhere?
How is it compared from 'Walnut'?

How is it compared with Antares Pedestals?
I have C10N and I use for visual and little bit of imaging.

I plan to upgrade the mount to CGEM later but not soon. Will these be compatible with the CGEM mount?
