Can someone provide a link to the fine wooden homebuilt mounts used by Eric Jaimeson and others with the larger Astro-physics scopes? I'm looking for plans or just a write up on how to proceed. Used to be on his site, but its down. Thanks in advance.

(1). Herewith is an article on the use of a wooden AltAz mount for an AP 130 mm f/6 APO refractor.

(2). I also build a wooden AltAz mount for my little used 5” Meade AR5 refractor. It is rather crude but usable and it has been put into good use at star parties.

Didn't that design come from Richard Berry's book "Build Your Own Telescope"? Willman-Bell still carries that one.
