Anyone using this? I am looking to turn my Giro II dx into a tracking platform. Please give feedback here or PM me with any advice/input you may have.

I used the Tech2000 outfit for quite awhile on a dob I once had......worked well for visual.

Was the accuracy not good for photo's or did you just not use it for such. I understand the limitation of alt-az for pictures. Was tracking just not good?

I only used it for visual back then....remembering how long a object would remain centered, you might be able to get
30-45sec subs, but that is just a guess. I think it would work fine for planetary. The system is very simple and they can repair the electronics in the pendant fairly inexpensively.
