I just received an Orion Sirius non-goto mount -- my first motorized mount -- and I'm wondering whether I should expect to see vibration from the stepper motors when I'm observing using high magnification. If so, would Orion's anti-vibration pads be helpful? Just wondering what I should expect.

Thank you.

I think you will be fine...any idea what scope you are going to mount on it?

Never had an eyepiece in the telescope on our HEQ5 (same mount, different paint). But, even at long focal lengths, the camera has never shown any signs of vibration in the images. My EQ6 has the same motors, and I regularily shoot at 2000+mm focal lengths, again, no sign of vibrations there either.
