Name: Andromeda Galaxy
Type: Galaxy
Constellation: Andromeda

Observing Site: Die (France)
Date: 11 September 2009

Seeing: Good
Transparency: Average

Scoop: 10x50 binocular

Edit: The core is less obvious in this scanned sketch. Actually, the core was brighter than the rest of the galaxy and had a round / oval shape.

A great first sketch of Andromeda and your documentation with descriptions in text is excellent.
I see you recorded it in Dutch but that you observed from France.

I saw your intro in your website. A great story as to how you discovered deep sky observing. Keep up the good work!

Thanks!

I live in the Netherlands, but was in France last week. The sky is much darker in the south than it is in our country.
