Nuncius,

Welcome to the Cloudy Nights Sketching Forum. Thank you for sharing your excellent observations of various deep sky objects. Practice will help you make the visible stars smaller as well as a softer application of nebulosity. We look forward to your future observations.

I took the liberty in revising your M22 observation. I converted it to a grayscale image and adjusted the levels to bring out the globular. I hope that you like it.

Carlos

Welcome to the sketch forum! Great art and sketch work as first attempts!

I see that you even sketched part of your telescopes finder scope. I like the old world golden manilla paper appearance. I for one appreciate your inventive style.

It is interesting what Carlos did to affect your M22 rendering with a reversal process. It almost looks like a photograph of a bright nebula.

I look forward to seeing your future sketch work here,

Mark

Hello Nuncius
Don't be to modest! Absence of talent? Some cleaning up (like Carlos did) and you can compete with the best.
I'm waiting for some more sketches from Rio, especially from objects I can't see in Belgium.

Great imagination! But the Moderators might relegate it to the Art Forum. It reminds me of how I was thinking in 1965 as a 6th grader > Master Mess - Mark's 1965 Op-Art 6th Grade - The Minds Eye of the Artists Brain Age 11
