Jeff,

Wonderful sketches, I especially like your rendering of the PN in Cygnus NGC 7048 but all on them are just wonderful.

Thanks, Frank.

Sketching in Cygnus can be tiring -- too many dang field stars! But it does produce a nice result.

Cheers,
-- Jeff.

Wonderful sketches, Jeff! I especially enjoy your observation of M27, as the view I had with a much smaller scope in severe light pollution remains memorable. It's very interesting to see what additional detail you were able to see with the larger aperture and much darker skies than I have.

Thanks for posting your observations of these interesting targets.

Jeff,

An interesting and impressive assortment of planetary nebula, including the famous Dumbbell Nebula (M27). All of the planetary nebula rendered have unique characteristics; M27 with it's bi-lobed extensions, NGC 7048 very compact, NGC 7538 irregular, and NGC 40 halo-like. Thank you for sharing these observations with us all.

Carlos
