Dear observers,

I equipped my 120/600 refractor with a new mount (a New Polaris). This night the sky was hazy, but moon and Jupiter were visible. To check whether the mount works without counterweight I brought the telescope outside and swayed to moon. The sky was very less than perfect, but I could not resist to sketch Janssen. Mag was 112x, I used a dark green filter to suppress the false colour.

Uwe,

Your Jannsen sketch looks great. It is a fine crater to sketch with many associated features to capture. :rainbow:

Frank :)
