Sinus Iridium was half in the shadow and looked very attracting. In the near Mare Imbrium one can find quit a lot of wrinkles. (15-cm-Mak@144x, Dec 26th, 20:50UT)

Again we both looked at the Moon the same night! I like your sketch a lot, especially the wrinkles (I had to look up that one in the dictionnary) are nicely done. I put my sketch of this evening with a post from Frank (see Euclides/Montes Riphaeus).

An excellent observation of Mare Iridium. You have recorded the mare ridges (wrinkles) very nicely. Thank you for sharing it with us all.

Beautiful rendering of this feature at Sinus Iridum!

I wished I was looking last night as that is one of my favorite regions of the moon. I have sketched around it a few times >

So I will go out tonight even though we have high winds.

Thanks for posting as you inspired me!

Very well done. These wrinkles are amazing when the light is just right. Your capture is very impressive. :rainbow:

Excellent job! I really like how you captured the wrinkles. No observing for me tonight as the in-laws are here and the wife wanted family time which is fine. Tomorrow I should go out. Thank you for the inspiration!
