Beautiful work. Beautiful work on the subtle detail. I do believe those are clouds or limb haze or perhaps both. One of the other planet sketchers here may know for sure.

Frank :)

Christian,

Excellent observations of Mars. The color of the lower observation is perfect. What was the date and time of the observation? Thank you for sharing it with us all.

Christian,

Thank you for the time of your observation. I believe the preceding limb is to the right of the image?

Merci Mark,
J'utilise des crayons pastels. Mon dessin ne fait que ~10cm x 7cm.

Lovely sketch, Christian. I know Mars is supposed to be the "red" planet, but the yellow version is closer to what I see in the eyepiece.

I also saw the limb haze or clouds (on the 29th), but I'm not sure which it is.

Cheers,
-- Jeff.
