Lunar drawing is difficult for me.
So, I studied moon sketch with photo reference.
There is two studies of lunar craters.
(It is not real sketch, only practice with photography)

Nightwid,

Based on these two sketches of photos, you will have no difficulty sketching the craters at the eyepiece when you get a chance.
Also, you will not need to leave the light pollution of the city to be successful.

Exellent work! I like the way you reproduced the subtle shadowing outsied the crater.
