Anyone have a product recommendation for putting digital setting circles on my old SP mount? I'd like to make a "push-to" system, but just having accurate RA and Dec indications would be enough (don't really need a computerized object catalog).

Thanks.

A bit confusing....you say DSC (Digital Setting Circles) but it sounds as if you are talking about just Setting Circles.....

If you are speaking of mechanical setting circles I cant offer any input....but it you really mean DSC's then Wildcard Innovations has encoder kits specifially for your Super Polaris.

Digital would be best. Wildcard Innovations looks good -- thanks. I'll keep my eye out. Perhaps I can home brew something on the cheap.

Jim's Mobile sells complete kits for many mounts. You can buy the computer and encoder/bracket kits, or buy your DSC Computer elsewhere and just get the encoders and brackets from JMI.

Holy cow! Those are expensive!

For about $430, you could add a Gotonova goto kit to your mount: Goto'ing a Super Polaris
