S1mas,

Excellent observations of the Crab Nebula (M1) and the Whirlpool Galaxy (M51). You have captured both objects very realistically in the eyepiece. Thank you for sharing them with us all.

S1mas,

The sketch of M51 and companion is nicely captured. Those galaxies are bright enough to pull in in less than average skies.
M1 is always a fine target and you captured its elongated shape very well.
Great eyepiece sketching.  :rainbow:

Excellent detail in both sketches! In 51, you've also captured the companion nicely, with bright cores of both, and a hint of the spiral arms in at least M51. I have never noticed the two-tone structure of M1 so beautifully captured in your sketch. But, you are likely observing and sketching under darker skies than what I typically observe.

Keep up the great work!
