Here is a sketch of M3.
M3 has a clear dark lane and star chain.
And I also observed special region, two of the territories are few stars.

Well executed and interesting sketch. I never noticed the dark lane before. Perhaps my scope is too small. Thanks for sharing.

Wow that's nice! Great diagramming too...it's nice to see those areas called out for further study.
