This night I had the chance to see rima Ariadaeus in favorite light. I observed with my 6 inch Mak at 144x.

Uwe, I have never seen a sketch of a rille before. Thanks for sharing the nice sketch. There is lots to do when you are sketching, I see!

Uwe,

That is a great capture of rima Ariadaeus and the non-round large crater Agrippa casting the long shadow from the high rim. Little crater Silberschlag looks great with that ridge that cuts through rima Ariadaeus. Wonderful work that is well captured and beautifully sketched. :waytogo:

Uwe, beautiful sketch. You put a lot of grey-differences in your sketch. I try to do the same, but my moon-sketches turn always out to be almost only black/white. Maybe I should try once to sketch on white paper.
