Simas,

An excellent observation of Saturn. We will probably note more detail as the planet get higher in the sky. Thank you for sharing it with us all.

Simas, great drawing. The Cassini division is verytough at the moment - I just glimpsed it last night in an 8" scope.

The Cassini division is verytough at the moment.

I have observed Saturn 2x this year and easily seen Cassini both times. I also saw it several times last year, with rings at a similar %age tilt. But, it takes practice, knowing what to look for.
