Winter ended, I got maybe last chance to add M42 to my Messier collection. Thats what Ive got under urban skies:

Simas,

Very nicely done. I can easily recognize the shape of the nebula and the trapezium. Thank you for sharing this; I was thinking on Friday when I was out that Orion was running to the west quite quickly and soon would be gone until late next fall. Wonderful items to view in Orion.

This is a beautiful drawing of the great nebula in Orion.

An excellent observation of the Orion Nebula 9M42). You have recorded it accurately in the eyepiece field. Thank you for sharing it with us all.

Hallo S1mas,

a great sketch of M42.The trapezium looks very real to me,like a view through an eyepiece.A wonderful sketch of the great orion nebula. :bow:
