Here is M-40. The skies were prefect. For some reason I feel like I have not finished this one.

True and True. This must be the simplest of Messier's objects to sketch.

Yep, I think you nailed it. The first time I saw M-40 I thought "is that all?" A wonderful capture of this double.

A very nice observation of M40 in Ursa Major. This is actually a double star system that was classified as a nebula by Charles Messier. Thank you for sharing it with us all.
