Moon crater Buerg

sketching a crater of the moon is always a difficult thing for me.On Tuesday Moon stands up fine and observing conditions were good.I started a new try.Crater Buerg lies in Lacus Mortis ,in the north of Mare Serenitatis .Here it is:

It doesn't look like you had a hard time sketching it. This crater is lovely done!

thank you for your friendly comment.You're right it was a little bit easier as I though .Now I will try some more sketches of moon craters.

This is a fantastic sketch of crate Burg on the Lake of Death. The terrace, crater floor and rim look outstanding. It just stands off the page. Three years ago I posted a sketch of Lacus Mortis with Burg illuminated in opposite sunlight. I did not capture Burg as well as you did here.

thank you,I saw your homepage with all your wonderful sketches ,so I think a moon crater wouldn't be a big problem for your.Sketching mooncraters from pictures was a good training for me and you can do it at daylight
