Dear observers,

this night the terminator and the libration shows the crater Phililoaus under favourate light. I sketched it. The smaller of the two is Philolaus G.
Philolaus has a double ring which expands asymmetrically to the south and the west of the crater.
Again I used my 6 inch Mak at 144x. Time was 20:50 UT.

Uwe,

Another fine sketch of a crater pair. That shape is unusual isn't it. Philolaus is a target I have not sketched.
You really caught it at a great time.  :rainbow:

Frank :)

Hallo Uwe,

tolle Zeichnung. :jump:
I haven't sketched this crater until now.Craters near the north or south pol of the moon are more difficult to sketch than the others.Good sketch thank you for sharing with us.
